Brit Awards Wins and Nominations

George Michael was one of the biggest British pop stars and songwriter of the 80s and 90s, firstly as part of Wham! with school friend Andrew Ridgeley and later as a solo artist – selling 100 million albums worldwide.

George received five Brit Awards, the British Phonographic Industry’s annual pop music awards, from twenty-four nominations. Two of the Brit Awards he won were for Wham!
